@4_hastings I distinctly remember 2018-2022 there being protests in Idlib against those that held the front as being "same as Assad". Tbh new regime needs to be able to know who was actually pro-rev and who is just a reed swinging in the wind.
@4_hastings Fair, although her types arent the only ones. There were Syrian Sunnis (urban) who made peace w Assad before and after 2011. Then there were the secularists who were revolutionaries but refused to fight but claimed ownership of the revolution somehow.
