Congrats to #MNTwins GM Jeremy Zoll, who now looks increasingly like the next fall guy in Minnesota. Tom Pohlad’s solution to years of uncompetitive baseball is apparently the same one the Pohlad family has used over and over: “I didn’t give my GM a payroll target.” That’s not leadership. It’s passing the buck. If the Twins don’t spend, Zoll takes the heat. If the roster fails, Zoll takes the heat. Meanwhile, Pohlad gets to say the decisions were made by baseball operations while he “learns on the job” running the organization. Joe Pohlad did this for years. Now Brother Tom is doing it. New Pohlad, same old narcissistic incompetence. Nepotism at its finest. Former #Marlins & #Expos president @DavidPSamson eviscerated Pohlad’s approach, while much of the Twins media remains remarkably quiet and subserviant. The Twins don’t need another fall guy. They need an owner with a clear plan, accountability and the willingness to actually back it up. Instead, Brother Tom keeps demonstrating that he isn’t equipped to run the Twins - and the gap between his promises and his actions is becoming impossible to ignore. Zoll should see if Derek Falvey has room for him on the #Mets. Because when this plan inevitably fails, Brother Tom will have yet another person to blame - and another opportunity to avoid looking in the mirror. #MNTwins | #MLB | #SellTheTeam

🚨 The #MNTwins need Walker Jenkins and Kaelen Culpepper in the lineup by the August 10 #BirdLand series - if they can even afford to wait that long. The offense looks flat. The defense needs help. The Twins have lost three straight and can't keep giving games away. This is a no-brainer. Option Austin Martin and Tristan Gray - Martin has been in a three-month slide, and Gray isn't the answer. Jenkins and Culpepper are playing too well to stay in Triple-A, and they'd immediately inject energy, defense, and upside into a team that desperately needs all three. If October is a serious goal, what better time to make the biggest move of the season so far? #MNTwins | #MLB

Wolves needed a PG so bad and it showed every time they played a good defense. If he stays healthy Lamelo is going to be great next to Ant. Naz is not a needle mover, he is not an offensive engine that they need with Randle now gone.

Can’t believe there was so many Wolves fans that wanted Finch fired in December, what a coaching job last night

Jaden McDaniels talked it and walked it and the only time he smiled was when Jokic grabbed him at the end of game 4.

@RossUglem Carolina program is down to rooting for Duke losses and getting out of the first round these days. Sad what it’s become, hope they can get back!

Doris Burke after Anthony Edwards was called for an offensive foul “Oklahoma City fans, they’re gonna start hating on me right now and feel free. How many times has Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gotten away with that exact kind of contact”

Duke defense can carry them a long way, just not sure they have enough offense to win it

Anthony Edwards postgame on ESPN regarding his clutch-time production this season: "Finchy, like I am not going to lie, he is the toughest coach I've ever had. But it works out in my favor because he tells me what I needed to work on and what I needed to get better at. This past summer, he told me I needed, like, a go-to shot at the end of games. And I was working on that all summer, finding my spots, getting to spots that I am comfortable in. So he's a big part of my success, honestly."

Mike needs to be out of the rotation, no excuse for him to play anymore except in certain rare spots. Sit him down next to Joe and let him coach

Not a good night for Chris Finch. Needed more Beringer, more Clark, maybe more Bones. Lineup to start the 4th was terrible. Mike is really struggling. Will be a long plane ride home.

@chadbartosh8 Might be a move that needs to be made but need to give Bones and Rob some run. Give Conleys minutes to them, sit him down next to Joe

Wolves are finding a way to win without Ant, Conley being hurt might actually be a good thing. He needs to sit next to Joe Ingles the rest of the year

Jaden McDaniels playing off ball and Jaylen Clark at the point of attack was the remedy for the Randle-Naz pairing plenty were calling for. Last night, Finch shuffled rotations around in order to prioritize getting to a lineup where those four players shared the court. We need

The Wolves fans wanting Finch fired after 5 games are delusional, with that said Conley does need to play less than 15 minutes a night and hopefully he realizes that soon
