Inpatient medicine things I've learned over the years: 1. never interrupt nursing sign out 2. let the patient sleep 3. notes aren't that important 4. Let people call you by your first name 5. rounds should be done by lunch 6. respect every member of your team

We're told SK is screening every case for Omicron. 16 new today, 17 new yesterday (and 55 day before, but probably from multiple days). Since we're sitting around 60 cases a day, Omicron is already 1/4 of new daily cases. At Ontario's doubling rate, we'll be over 250/day by NYD.

Ontario will have accepted 16 #COVID19SK ICU patients by Oct 26. Given that @SKGov is sending ~20% of its COVID ICU population ~2000km by air, the time for new public health measures is now.
