@apeoples13 We were told that the game against Citadel would be pretty one-sided, so we decided to save Texas A&M for a better matchup. Also we feel like we should experience different levels of college football and not just visit the biggest schools.

I’ll always respect @billyliucci, I criticized a moment during a baseball series when a certain someone came back to town. Instead of Billy getting upset with it, he offered me an extra ticket in premium seating at Olsen. He built a platform that allows Aggies everywhere to stay in touch with the athletic department all over the world. He is loyal to A&M, and always supports our guys and girls, even when it gets tough. Elko’s comments today are beyond out of touch. And it showed a lack of impulse control that I haven’t seen out of him, ever. To make matters worse, Billy wasn’t the only victim in the press conference. The way Elko talked to our own media pool was simply unacceptable. These are people who dedicate so much time and effort into covering Aggie sports, they’re bigger fans than most of us. To talk to them and treat them that way was wrong. Jimbo had bad years. He never talked to the media like that. To accost a large portion of our fanbase after a loss that you took the blame for is certainly a choice. Emotions get the best of all of us, but as a head coach of a school with the values we have, and a fanbase a loyal as we are, don’t take us for granted. If it weren’t for us, you’d still be at Duke, and we’d have Mark Stoops. Maybe we lose more games with him, but I don’t think he’d ever lash out like that. Do better coach, and please for your own sake, apologize.

Texas A&M has a passionate fanbase who supports the team even when they’re bad probably better than any other school in the country. The HC intentionally antagonizing that fanbase seems like an odd choice.

Asked Texas A&M coach Mike Elko what he'd say to Aggie fans who are losing faith in the team. "There's a difference to me between the fan base and social media. So there's one group that I really don't care much about. Billy's cesspool (at TexAgs) can go be Billy's cesspool. Our

The “cesspool” blocked Mike Stoops from getting the job you then benefited from. The “cesspool” funds your program. The “cesspool” is going to fill out the stadium next week even though your decisions led to this unacceptable performance… @CoachMikeElko

Few things. 1) He’s not wrong in that every fanbase as a toxic faction that’s never happy 2) Doubt he meant this as a shot at @billyliucci nor majority of @TexAgs members 3) ZERO reason to bring this up, especially after such poor game I’ll bet he apologizes & clarifies soon
