When a project claims to be "audited” the first question is: against what? Ask the same about "quantum-resistant" and there's no clear answer yet. Today, nine blockchain organizations launched the Quantum Alliance, an open standards body working to define a standard for quantum resistance. Hacken is one of the founding contributors. Practical note: once a wallet sends a transaction, its public key stays on-chain permanently. No computer can reverse-engineer this public key to obtain the private key. A large enough quantum computer could, none exists at this time. 6.04M BTC (30.2% of supply) is already counted as exposed. The same signatures also safeguard stablecoin minting keys and bridges. The Quantum Alliance will publish an open definition of readiness, establish test criteria any team can run on its own implementation, and provide reference designs for migration.
