@Rickybobby080 @kiaran_ritchie There are additional leg bones. The sternum is a tie and not connected to the ribcage. Sometimes I wonder about blindness.

@Cyrus3v Maybe the new cops workflows would be easier to iterate.

@BradeskoUrban @EXM7777 "steal the workflow". Why this language? As if the appeal was to take things that are not yours and create profit based on that theft

@Rahll @nateinthewild I also think this is dumb, but it seems to make sure the prints are facing downwards for later scanning. I'm pretty sure people are doing this atm. Nevertheless this robot doesn't need to be humanoid.

@venturepictures Think more design, less trust in physics. The biggest issue though: flip will look different with different particle separation. So you can't just set a lowres up and hope it will translate. You need to wedge over night. That's why most people are scared of big flip sims.

@venturepictures The most important thing is to not hope that proper setup physics will just solve problems. Too much water stuck on the ship? Introduce custom forces to push it down. Not enough bubbling before ship appears from water? Introduce some noise forces below water surface.

@PartyAvantHarde There's an easy test. Film a prores video. There should be much less post processing compared to taking images. You'll see what the sensor actually sees. It won't be sharp mountains.

@OG_MISTER_POPO @JTinTexs @BlackMajikMan90 As if anyone would watch these films if you strip them off their vfx shots.

This has to be one of the most insane 4K releases ever. The film was shot on DV, and at the time we did a huge amount of processing just to make it look good enough in HD to go back out to film — or 2K, as it then was. Now it’s been uprezzed again to 4K, which is frankly hysterical. We’re talking about something that began life as 512-line interlaced video being pushed to 4K. And, just for added fun, the way it was shot also built in temporal artefacts as it was shot 25FPS, which I can assure you gave us some very interesting headaches trying to get rid of them.

28 Days Later changed horror forever. That empty London. That gritty digital look. That feeling that the world had already ended before the movie even started. Fans have been waiting years for a proper restoration, and the September 1st 4K release finally gives this classic the

@sainimatic @Ssaasquatch It's like death. When we look at our death, our day to day experiences and emotions may seem either extremely valuable or completely meaningless.

@dami_digital @Olutoyese_ I've just stumbled on some footage of burning oil which should probably look similar to your flamethrower. Apparently that kind of smoke is incredibly thick so you're not so far off. But then again, we are so used to cg fire that it just feels wrong without heavy scattering
