I post physique to share something I am finally able to share. Many years ago when I was a young man, I often heard others say that I would not be in such a good form when I had a wife, children, and a business. I intuitively knew that they were only coping. However, being the kind-hearted light that I am, I was inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now that I am a Venerable Ancient, I can confirm the following: Yes, you can definitely be in a good shape even when having a lot of other things to take care of. As my man Aristotle so eloquently stated it "excellence is a habit" – indeed it is all about habits. Just maintain your good habits; keep hitting the iron, you have 24 hours a day. If you find yourself putting on fat, just fast more. Fasting costs you nothing and does not take any time (the opposite on both accounts, in fact). If anything, having children has only increased my motivation to train and to optimise my health. Onwards!

@LancesLegion Maybe the balance we should try to find is between struggle and consolation.

@ACatholicRuckus Just out of curiosity, what do you think about Vatican II? I am actually converting to Catholicism myself, and I will become officially Catholic this Saturday, in fact.

@MillennialWoes Our system of healthcare might be fine for people with Medicaid or Medicare, but most people are not poor enough for Medicaid or old enough for Medicare. Many Americans have insurance through their employer, which can be bad if they lose that job or if their spouse loses a job.
