Honestly, Slot will make sure Hugo will feel just the right amount of bad for getting sent off and missing the Palace game. My main negative from all this is that a striker who has scored 4 goals in 7 games, including a derby, has to take a week off instead of stoking the fire.

Yes, this is a massive overreaction and an emotional opinion, but our best players—not just Salah—getting snubbed by a body of voters who conflate individual awards with team performances is why I’m over us heavily/entirely rotating our squads for the League Cup and the FA Cup.

The bottom line is this: No one involved with the @ballondor seriously believes that @MoSalah is only the 4th-best footballer in the world. They *prefer* the best players of the club that won the Champions League—unless you’re Lionel Messi, in which winning your league will do.
