Has anyone used the pomodoro technique and found it helpful for someone who already can ‘lock-in’ and study for longer periods? Was there any marginal benefit?

It’s going to take one guy in each friend group to stop his buddies from gambling on sports. It’s ruining young men and most social interactions. Sports gambling in its current form is a net negative on society.

This developing story about Dario's failed communications with the White House confirms everything I've ever believed about the enormous power of the Sales Chad. You can be the smartest, most hard working, well-meaning guy around, but if you can't get people to like you, it's all for nothing. When the time comes to send one of your own to meet inside the Halls of Power, you don't send the Geek Squad. You must send the affable, beer-drinking, golf-loving Sales Chad. It literally doesn't matter if he understands the product half as well as everyone else. You send him. It's what he was put on Earth to do.

@RaminNasibov I had Myspace around sixth/seventh grade so I can’t answer directly as I hadn’t lived much life before then lol however, what I will say is that what I miss about those older social networks (the beginning) was the sense of community on a much smaller scale….

@fleetingbits On your point #9) Can you point to a best in class example of this? I ask because I just read in a McKinsey study that they forecast this “unbundling,” of vertically integrated companies to avoid commoditization and I’m trying to figure out what that looks like.
