@tjayrush Calling something out for being ragebait does not mean I'm enraged

@RupertLowe10 The "stop giving handouts to millions" button

@JamesMalsawm Running five subscriptions to do one job is a very public-sector way to work. Pick one. I struggle even to max out the $100/month tiers

@EdConwaySky Borrowing more in each of the next five years, and the headline is a £100 energy payment?? The fiscal equivalent of buying a round on the credit card, what is even happening

@simonw AI wrote most of the code for my RimWorld mod, and the code was never the bit that worried me, especially because I reviewed everything. Making it fun was. Were you doing the playtesting?

@RupertLowe10 The challenge of going and running a cafe for a year should be a condition of the job. Ten minutes of doing VAT returns and payroll would teach more than any OBR forecast

@RupertLowe10 *Taps the sign*

@ednewtonrex It's pretty rare that the prospectus openly admits that the business model rests on a legal question that no ones answered yet

@Pingl3y @TynanSylvester Bit late to the reply, but I also made a version, Boots on the Rim on steam workshop

@akarixbt 97% of engineers, $750K offers, and a quote from an engineer we're not allowed to name. The agent clearly isn't the only thing hallucinating.

@darrenpjones Happy to consider it once someone names the bit of the public sector currently hitting its targets, so we've got something to model it on and all.

@DianaVonRigg The single measurable effect so far seems to be half the country learning what a VPN is. Also, whoever thought that the OSA was ever a good idea should be laucnhed into the sun

@iced_coffee_dev Made a RimWorld mod with AI help and also hand-modelled some of the 3D. Disclosed it and got the same reaction as if I'd typed one prompt and just uploaded it from there. Nobody reads the spectrum or is interested in nuance anymore

@willcb It makes sense, as long as you don't use them as therapists or friends or things like that. Grokbot can be a good financial advisor

@robertskmiles Make sure each one cuts off just before the useful bit. As is tradition.

@badlogicgames Software's fine, and it will be for a while. However, it's the bit where someone has to read it that's not doing so great. 😶

@dexhorthy @GOrlanski The fact that "xhigh is considered harmful" is probably the most relatable finding. Given any longer to think, they start adding needless abstractions

@s8mb I have to say, quietly dropping the target is the one and only part of the housing plan they've actually delivered on schedule

@petergostev Serving's cheap then. It's the 70% of compute used internally, by your own sums yesterday, that the gross margin politely omits.
