Honest question - if Jackdaw and Roseband are both green lit, does global fossil fuel consumption increase? If not, then that need would be met from somewhere, so where is the argument that doing so is bad for the environment? Or is the argument that we should deliberately crank fossil fuel prices through supply side restrictions to financially incentivise people to make renewables more viable? Please note none of this is a comment on global decarbonisation, which still seems vital to me.
