When a defendant says you can’t charge him because the statute of limitations has run out, they are saying they are guilty. That’s what Trump said this morning, but what he failed to mention is those limitations are put on hold should you leave the state. Trump lived in the WH, so the time limit to charge him stopped, and never started again, because he moved to Florida after he was democratically removed from the WH. Perception is everything in trials and the media has a moral obligation to point out each Trump lie, and to explain why it’s a lie. Happy Monday…May today be the first day on Trumps road to prison
@PrezLives2022 I’m not really sure that’s true, public servants still maintain their state residency, regardless of where the service takes them. my entire time in the Navy was Louisiana resident, despite my physical address
@PrezLives2022 If the media pointed out every lie the loser told it would take them 25 hrs a day. Everyday.
@PrezLives2022 Or, maybe he just does not want to pay $millions to defend against a charge that should never have happened?
@PrezLives2022 Not true at all. Statute runs regarless. This is a desperate attempt to convict him of something...even knowing the charges won't hold up on appeal, just to hamstring his campaign. If they can find one e-mail to that effect, lots of folks going to jail.
