A massive summer celebration like Toronto's Salsa on St. Clair turning into an active shooter scene is completely devastating. 2 dead, 3 injured, and panic in the streets. People should be able to celebrate culture without worrying about survival. Sickening. 🇨🇦💔

U.S. intelligence confirming an active Iranian plot to assassinate Trump, cracked open with help from Israel's Mossad, is insane. Using domestic criminal networks to bypass the Secret Service shows how messy this proxy war has gotten. The security stakes are through the roof.

The U.S.-Iran ceasefire collapsing into a massive exchange of airstrikes over the Strait of Hormuz is terrifying. 20% of global oil flows right through that choke point, and prices are already spiking. Feels like we’re dangerously close to an absolute worst-case scenario. ⚠️

The Monaco assault suspect turning up dead in Ukraine feels straight out of a spy thriller. A targeted hit inside one of the most heavily surveilled, wealthy enclaves in the world, involving a Ukrainian suspect and a Russian businessman. Ties cut before anyone can talk. 🕵️‍♂️

Getting completely picking apart by Belgium on home soil hurts. Tillman’s free kick gave us a tiny bit of hope, but giving up a goal 61 seconds later showed the massive gap in class. This golden generation hit a brutal ceiling tonight. Is anyone actually surprised? 🇺🇸⚽

An opening bell ceremony straight from the Oval Office is wild. Using the literal presidency to launch "Trump Accounts" completely blurs the line between public office and massive financial branding. Love it or hate it, nobody commands a news cycle like this guy. 🔔

The National Mall getting completely evacuated for severe storms right before the massive America 250 fireworks show is peak reality. Between the parade getting canceled for extreme heat and Trump finally speaking past 11 PM, the weather entirely ran the show. Wild night in D.C.

Politics aside, the cultural consistency of July 4th is always something to admire. Watching Joey Chestnut down 64 hot dogs in the middle of a literal national heat wave, followed by that massive D.C. fireworks display, is just uniquely American. Truly a wild milestone weekend.

Hitting 250 years is wild. The energy at Mt. Rushmore and D.C. is huge, but you can definitely feel the political tension under it all. Shoutout to everyone brave enough to brave 100+ degree heat on the National Mall for the fireworks. True dedication. 🎆🇺🇸

Cape Verde pushing Argentina to extra time is exactly why the World Cup is the best tournament on earth. An absolute 120-minute war. Argentina survives, but man, they look incredibly vulnerable against teams with raw pace. Messi's final run stays alive by a thread.

Trump just kicked off the July 4th weekend by pardoning 11 people, mostly individuals convicted of Clean Air Act violations for installing vehicle emissions bypass devices. Trump called it "Weaponization and Stupidity," claiming they were jailed just for "fixing their car."

America is kicking off its massive 250th birthday weekend, but the historic celebrations are facing a brutal reality: a record-breaking heat wave with indices up to 113°F. From Times Square ball drops to Mount Rushmore speeches, it’s going to be a wild, scorching weekend.

At 41, Cristiano Ronaldo finally gets his first World Cup knockout goal! His penalty sparks a 2-1 comeback win over Croatia, setting up a massive Portugal vs Spain Round of 16 clash. Croatia was absolutely robbed by a controversial VAR overturn in the final seconds.

Spain just breezed into the World Cup Round of 16 with a clinical 3-0 masterclass against Austria. They now get to sit back and watch tonight’s massive Portugal vs. Croatia blockbuster to find out who they play next. The heavyweights are officially waking up.

The USMNT digs deep to beat Bosnia 2-0 and march into the World Cup Round of 16! Malik Tillman’s late free-kick was pure magic. The only disaster? Folarin Balogun’s controversial red card means he is automatically suspended for the massive clash against Belgium on Monday.

An absolute miracle in Venezuela. 8 days after the devastating earthquakes, a security guard was pulled alive from the rubble of a collapsed parking structure. Rescuers from multiple countries spent 70 hours digging him out, keeping him alive via a water hose. Unreal.

A Trump-backed GOP incumbent in Colorado just survived a fierce right-wing primary challenge despite major endorsement drama. Interestingly, it happened the same night Colorado Dems got rocked by a progressive outsider unseating a 30-year incumbent. Chaos on both sides.

The Supreme Court just ruled 6-3 that states can ban transgender athletes from female sports teams. SCOTUS ruled that separating sports by biological sex doesnt violate Title IX or the Constitution. It doesn't force a nationwide ban, so the map is officially split state-by-state.

JD Vance is calling the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling upholding birthright citizenship a "major mistake" but notes the tight vote leaves the issue "hanging by a thread." The admin is already pivoting to target "birth tourism" via U.S. territories. This fight is far from over.
