One of the weird things about living in India is how often I find myself freezing. AC here is mostly splits rather than central air and that almost always means the controller is . . . off a bit. Example: my bedroom. "But Jacob, why don't you just adjust the controller?" Because if I do, it becomes too warm. So you have a choice. Too warm or too cold. You can add a blanket for the cold...

I brought Beef Jerky (Teriyaki, my fave) to the office here in Kochi, India. Apparently, they have no trouble with this, likely because Kochi is different. Anyway, three bags. One they gave out in the office Co-op for tasting. The other two they gave to the chef for a "salad or something" later this week... Jerky in a salad. Who knew? Also, I'm told it goes well with mayo and/or honey. Cultural exchange, I'm doing it right?
So I'm flinging litter leavings over the back fence (the accepted mode here in India) when I look over and see the neighbor gardener doing the same for his clippings. I feel like we would have shared a bro moment of "we don't speak of this and we're fine" but I was both a white dude and wearing a white shirt and tie ready for sacrament meeting so what I got was more of a "what even are you" moment...
Played D&D with friends in India at a company-hosted convention, CyCon. Indians don't typically know anything about D&D or Roleplaying so the Starter Kit was very helpful. Also pictured, my daughter's debut as DM!

@PcPhilanthropy Modern laptops: We made it even THINNER!! Me: I don't WANT 'thinner'. I want a battery that will last for a week, more USB ports than any normal person could ever use, and I want it to be sturdy enough to beat someone to death with it.
