@IrriSens successfully completed the field campaign over super-intensive almond orchards. Periodical measurements of water status, photosynthetic rate, and vegetation structural parameters across fields with different irrigation treatments. Collaborative research with @QuantaLab.
Our new review paper shows that hyperspectral remote sensing is a new frontier in crop disease monitoring. Early detection for sustainable farming is feasible despite challenges in cost & adoption. ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/11173…

In our latest study (doi.org/10.1016/j.agrf…), we used hyperspectral imagery to estimate chlorophyll a+b in radiata pine, comparing empirical and Radiative Transfer Models (RTM). Greenhouse and field trials revealed how structural complexity influences Ca+b estimation.
