રેલવે પ્લેટફોર્મના નળનું પાણી હું પ્લાસ્ટિકની બાટલીના પાણી કરતાં વધારે નિરોગી ગણું છું અને પીવું છું કારણ કે હું માનું છું કે કોઈપણ નળનું પાણી ખરાબ હોય તો ઝાડા ઉલટી કે કમળો થઇ શકે પરંતુ પાણી માટે પ્લાસ્ટિકની બાટલીનો ઉપયોગ સૌને માટે કેન્સરને આમંત્રણ સમાન છે.

આપણે વૃદ્ધાશ્રમો માટે આપણા પુત્રો તથા પુત્રવધૂઓને જવાબદાર ગણીએ છીએ પરંતુ તેમને આ સંસ્કાર કોણે આપ્યા? સંબંધનું મૂલ્ય ન સમજનાર સમાજ ના સર્જનમાં આપણી કોઈ ભૂમિકા ખરી કે નહીં? આજે નહીં જાગીએ તો આવતીકાલ ઓર અંધારી હશે.

નશો ડ્રગ્સ જ નથી. TRP પણ એક નશો જ છે. એમાંથી ય પેલી 'કિક' લાગે ને એના જોરે કરોડોના ખેલ થાય. ટીઆરપીની આખી સીસ્ટમ જ પહેલેથી ફિલ્મી એવોર્ડ જેવી એક સ્કેમ છે. ચેનલો શું, પ્રેક્ષકોમાં ધ્યાન ખેંચવાની, પ્રસિદ્ધિની ભૂખ એવી છે કે કોઈક જેન્યુઇન પોપ્યુલર હોય, એની જલનમાં જ બળીને ખાખ થઈ જાય !

પાવાગઢ નજીક આવેલ ખૂણીયા મહાદેવનો ધોધ ચોમાસાની ઋતુમાં નયન રમ્ય રૂપ ધારણ કરે છે, જે જોવા ગયેલા આશરે 70 નાગરિકો જ્યારે જોવા ગયા હતા ત્યારે અચાનક પાણી ભરાઈ આવતા તેઓ ફસાઈ ગયા હતા. પાવાગઢ PSI શ્રી પી.એન.સિંઘ અને તેમની ટીમે દોરડાની મદદથી એક એક કરી બધા જ નાગરિકોને રેસ્ક્યું કર્યા હતા.

જે લોકો એવું કહેતાં હોય છે કે વિશ્વામિત્રીમાં મગરોનો ત્રાસ છે એ અર્ધસત્ય અને અતિશયોક્તિપૂર્ણ હશે કદાચ. વિશ્વામિત્રીની હાલની સ્થિતિ જોઈને તો એવું જ થાય છે કે ઘણા લાંબા સમયથી એને અને મગરોને માણસોનો ત્રાસ હોવો જોઈએ.
