I'm going to jail. Voluntarily. Tonight I’m going inside the Fulton County Jail for a recovery meeting. That world is also part of Trials of a Legal Junkie. Kirkus called the final pages “a particularly gripping courtroom procedural.” amzn.to/4d9R7zo

Thanks, Bill, for reviewing Trials of a Legal Junkie on Amazon. Our friendship began through Charlie Brock, a remarkable man who helped LGBTQ students escape Bob Jones University. Charlie died on Election Day 2016. I still miss him. Read my books? Please leave an Amazon review. amzn.to/4d9R7zo

Hope did not appear as a lightning bolt. It appeared as one sober day, then another, and then the terrifying possibility that I might actually live. Order links are in my bio. #RecoveryStories #Memoir

The other Rich has mentored me in recovery more than just about anyone. Then the conversation turned to leather pride and puppies. For once, “puppy” literally means puppy. 😂 🐶 🔗👇

Sometimes the content goes off script. A resident walked up while I was filming and our conversation took a turn I wasn’t expecting. One thing public-interest law taught me: service doesn’t require agreement. There are no throwaway people. Trials of a Legal Junkie available now. Trials of a Legal Junkie is about that too. There are no throwaway people. 📖 Paperback 📱 eBook 🎧 Audible Available now.

They say don't meet your heroes, but they never met Robin Biro. This Marine has long admired this Army Airborne Ranger veteran—for his service in Afghanistan, his LGBTQ rights advocacy, and for being a voice of reason on Fox News. So thrilled he came to my Atlanta book launch! 🇺🇸📚🏳️‍🌈 Order Now amzn.to/4d9R7zo

This wasn’t in the script. A man who lives here walked up while I was filming and started telling me what life there is actually like. Trials of a Legal Junkie amzn.to/4d9R7zo

One of the first people to welcome me to Palm Springs was Jims, usually with Ace beside him. Ace and Xander became friends too. ❤️ Thanks, Jims, for helping me launch the book. Hope you enjoy the read — and keep the Palm Springs updates coming. Order your copy now amzn.to/4yZOTuM

The first time you tell the truth, you don’t know whether the room will hold. Sometimes it does. Sometimes the person across from you has more grace than the institution ever did. Order links are in my bio. #LGBTQBooks #Memoir

Pete Hegseth. The Peter Principle. 😂 Secrets of a Gay Marine Porn Star is also a firsthand account of serving as a closeted gay Marine during the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell era. ⭐ Kirkus starred review: “An absolutely invaluable firsthand account of LGBTQ+ history.” amzn.to/4yZOTuM

Before social media, community had an address. For a lot of us, it was the LGBTQ bookstore. I still miss those places. Both of my books are available through Bookshop.org. bookshop.org

Spike says he loves Palm Springs—especially downtown and all the people he’s meeting. He does think his standard of living could use an upgrade. Apparently Daddy needs to sell more books to support the lifestyle Spike plans to become accustomed to. 😂 amzn.to/4yZOTuM

Kristen helped me a lot when I was living and working in New York years ago. Now she and her husband, Mark, could use some help. Healthcare should not be this financially devastating. If you can contribute or share, please do. ❤️ gofund.me/7c7c2e6cc

I drove my fundamentalist Christian school teachers up the wall. One biology teacher told us the earth was 6,000 years old—and that God had created dinosaur bones already looking millions of years old to test our faith. So naturally I had questions. Secrets of a Gay Marine Porn Star, Second Edition is about growing up inside a high-control religious environment and eventually learning to question what I’d been taught. ⭐ Kirkus Reviews — Starred Review 📖 Paperback 📱 eBook 🎧 Audible Available now.
