Dear @itvcorrie, Read the room. No-one who watches the show wants to see 'Debbie Webster' - or Sue Devaney - leave in such a "cruel" way. You recently scrapped and reedited several scenes involving a returning 'Martin'. Do the same again here. Reverse the decision. #Corrie

On This Day in 1801: the first ever blackboard was put up by James Pillans, headmaster of the Royal High School, Edinburgh. Before this, pupils worldwide were still using individual slates. I've chalked up a few other Scottish inventions on his board 😉
