@MeticulAi Thank you. Steam is certainly a choice as soon as they approve my page as I’m for a month waiting now for them to verify my ID. Demo is almost ready for steam and will be available in upcoming weeks. It’s all about polish now since all the systems are implemented :)

Nightshoal, week 13 🌊 • Trade with the rum-runners at Red Fish Island • Storms now reach the harbours: rain, painted skies, far thunder • 18 more ships in bottles • Every engine sits in its hull and turns its own propeller Everything built with Opus 5.5 #indiedev #godot #Claude

@tamamogram Sadly never played it, few people told me the same thing. I guess every idea you ever get was done by someone at one point 🫣

Took a few days off from Nightshoal and accidentally made a mobile game with Opus 5.5 :D Chalk Runner: a stickman that runs \o/ Play it in your browser: claude.ai/artifact/A8o6k… groups.google.com/g/chalk-runner… #indiedev #gamedev #mobilegame

Just a little fun idea I had in mind while working on Nightshoal. If you want to try here is the link: claude.ai/artifact/X3gDb… I might turn it into proper game if people like it. Made by Claude Opus 5.5 #Claude

@Mintcondish369 Keep trying and grinding eventually you will get there. For now experiment with custom backgrounds. Eventually you will improve a lot 🙂

Ships in bottles are in Nightshoal. Explore small islands, find a ship sealed in a bottle, and keep it in your captain's cabin. 40 to collect, Common to Legendary, each with its own little storm inside. Made with Opus 5.5 + Godot 🍾⛵ #indiedev #gamedev #godot

@Mintcondish369 I mean you are building an app and I'm building a game, so there is that. But in general you will need to use much more custom art for interface, for example your entire first image lacks any sort of background (texture or background image). Ask chatGPT for mockups before edit :)

@Mintcondish369 For UI you have to generate assets separately as images basically, either Codex can do it on it's own or do it manually for Claude, or allow Claude to use OpenAI by providing it with API key. Or you mean graphics in general?

@azimoraz @GamewithDave What do you mean? In which sense. In case of Steam you have to disclose that you used AI and for what parts you used it for. In terms of using assets you have to be careful with licensing. For example you can’t use ElevenLabs music for commercial games etc

@GamewithDave I try to stay away from places that are clearly anti AI, but even in places that are "pro AI" you get a lot of negativity, you just learn to deal with it I guess 🤷‍♂️

Newest ship in the bottle is added in the game, it's small and quite aggressive. Probably the only pirate ship in the game you can contain :) #GodotEngine #indiegame

@ConnorEllison No idea as that zone is not out yet and will be last one in the game, a lot of play testing needs to be done before I can even guess. Not to mention it needs to be built first

@ConnorEllison No, weather is dependent more "random" but not fully random, for example bottle with snow inside you will get once you discover artic zone which will be the last one in the game. It is not based on rarity of the ship :)
