Met a 70+ yr old investor last wk Says 13% returns over long term in equity is not enough. Started investing in 2020 & has made 25% in the last 5 yrs Very dangerous trend Nifty 500 5 yr rolling returns - The graph is a clear indicator. Have reasonable expectations!

Does buy on dips help? A detailed analysis of buying on dips (>10% Fall in a mthly) in the last 25 yrs Clearly, There is a good difference! BTW, this is on Nifty500. A porfolio of MF Schemes would have made even better diff! Will u b scared to buy on dips next time?

A 40yr old person is concerned about having 50L in equity MF. Worried about huge (?) amount of money in equity. He never felt so when he bought a house for 1.25cr 5 yrs back for rental income! 50L in Equities is over concentration than 1.25cr in real estate 😄 God bless!
