@MatthiasHartel It’s hard and I’m sorry. My grandad went through this. I took him to so many funerals. We all knew all his friends had left him. We tried to keep him occupied. Then I had to move far away. He went on. He outlived his wife (married 49 years) and had girlfriends till the end.

@FrankBr05713205 Gramps had a crane truck. I’m burning the midnight oil in the shop when one the employees pulls up in his beater Lincoln. Starts the crane. Picks it up almost vertical. Pounds on the exhaust etc. puts it down and left. Not me.

@Yodertoter40 Bless you and your ‘brother’. Free will is American. Has its up and downs but I never do it any differently.

@billionare81 All I can tell you was what I did. I welded on a (Thought) dry tank. Flame thrower came out of the bung. Blew my hat off and roasted my hair a bit. Big whoosh. So water.

@DJSnM My dad was a pilot. I went for my PP license in my 20s. It’s a blast.

@DJSnM I got on a caboose on a multi day Congressional tour of the NTS (now the NNSS) in 2005. Our docent was a neat guy. He was an ‘assembler’ back in the early days up to the big Pacific tests. The VIP tour was fascinating. Next day we got to see Yucca Mountain waste facility.

@rickyricksmusic Mine was blue with the 318. By far one of the best cars I diced with. The 440 was out there, but I felt it was too heavy. Got T boned one day.
