Marcus Smart is available to play in Game 5. Suffered a lateral ankle sprain just 5 days ago. Impressive job by him and the Celtics AT staff.

Vita Vea injury video: reported as an LCL sprain out 6-8 weeks. Not super common injury as his leg fully extends & foot slips as side of foot makes contact w/ ground causing a slight varus force as body weight & momentum control movement. Must slow down video to fully see.

Jermaine Kearse injury video: suffered a broken leg, as leg is fallen on from behind & caught under defender. You can see deformity when he rolls over. Leg was splinted on field & carted off.

Klay Thompson injury video: ACL injury occurs when landing & looking back to see if he scored. W/ his left foot planted pointing outward & body momentum going other direction. It causes his tibia to laterally rotate while femur medially rotates. Putting maximal tension on the ACL

ICYMI: Lauren Cox injury video suffering a MCL sprain & bone bruise. MCL injury occurs as knee collapses inward stretching medial side. Bone bruise occurs on lateral side as bones collide. Will NOT require surgery as MCL as good blood supply.

Chuma Okeke’s injury video: Confirmed ACL tear seen in video planting left foot attempting to decelerate & change directions. If stride is to long puts knee in vulnerable position as tibia translates forward while knee is collapsing inward leading to the ACL rupture. #WarEagle

Warning graphic video: Nurkic injury video: player jumps & during landing suffers a compound tibia/fibula fracture as you can hear the snap on the audio. Comparable injury is Paul George injury & Per @InStreetClothes returned in 8 months
