The Debates Got Heated. Then the Markets Made Some Strange Moves x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Pray with me October 22, 2026 Heavenly Father, You are the sovereign King over all creation. Though nations rage, rulers rebel, and the world conspires against Your truth, You remain enthroned in heaven, unmoved and undefeated. Lord, remind us that no earthly power can overthrow Your purposes, no human authority can outrank Your Word, and no rebellion can overturn Your promises. Teach us to serve You with reverence, rejoice with trembling, and walk in humble obedience. Give us wisdom to recognize Your authority, courage to proclaim Your truth, and faith to trust Your appointed King, Jesus Christ. When the world grows loud with defiance, let our hearts grow quiet with confidence in Your sovereignty. May we take refuge in Your Son, for blessed are all who trust in Him. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our King of kings, Amen. Read: Psalm 2

🚨 BREAKING: Laura Ingraham just laid out what she says is the radical left's playbook to take down federal authority. Per Ingraham, it goes like this. Flood the streets nationwide until Trump invokes the Insurrection Act.  Claim the military is committing abuses. Get the press to amplify every clip. Then blue state governors unite to override federal authority and rewrite the Constitution. She says former Obama and Biden staffers, ex-USAID employees and community organizers are openly discussing it. One former USAID staffer made it sound like utopia. "We're going to have to, if we want to live in peace and deeper democracy, reform our legal frameworks,"  They call it reform. It's a power grab with a nicer name.

Cynical Publius describes it so well. This is almost verbatim independent verification of Chapter 20 in UNELECTED, but he makes it way easier to understand and follow. Please read for how it all works.

Pray with me October 21, 2026 Heavenly Father, Today, we come before You with grateful hearts, not because everything in our lives is perfect, but because You are good in every circumstance. Your Word declares in Psalm 100:5, "For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations." Lord, we thank You for the blessings we recognize and the mercies we never even see. For prayers You have answered, doors You have closed, dangers You have kept us from, and grace You have extended when we didn't deserve it. Forgive us for the times we have been so consumed with what we lack that we have overlooked the abundance of what You have already given. Your goodness is not measured by our comfort. Your faithfulness is not determined by our circumstances. And Your love does not diminish when life becomes difficult. As Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, Your mercies never cease. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness! Father, teach us to be grateful not only for what comes from Your hand, but for who You are in Your heart. You are holy, righteous, patient, merciful, and abounding in steadfast love. Thank You for the gift of another day, another breath, another opportunity to walk in obedience and reflect Your glory. And above every earthly blessing, thank You for Jesus Christ. Thank You that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Thank You that our greatest need was not for an easier life, but for a Savior, and in Your goodness, You provided Him. May our gratitude become more than words spoken in prayer. Let it become worship expressed through obedience, generosity, humility, and love. And when we cannot understand what You are doing, remind us that we can still trust who You are. For every good and perfect gift comes from above, from You, the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17) Lord, You have been better to us than we have been faithful to You. And yet Your goodness remains. So today, we choose thanksgiving over complaining, contentment over comparison, and worship over worry. Because even if You never gave us another earthly blessing, You have already given us more than we could ever deserve in Jesus Christ. You are good. You have always been good. And You will never cease to be good. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Pray with me October 20, 2026 Heavenly Father, Thank You for calling us, loving us, and keeping us in Jesus Christ. In a world filled with deception and confusion, give us the courage to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. Guard our hearts against false teaching, pride, and the temptation to turn Your grace into an excuse for sin. Build us up in our most holy faith. Teach us to pray in the Holy Spirit, remain in Your love, and wait with confidence for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Give us compassion for those who doubt, courage to rescue those wandering toward destruction, and wisdom to speak truth without surrendering love. And Father, when our strength fails, remind us that You are able to keep us from stumbling and present us blameless before Your glorious presence with great joy. To You, the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time, now and forever. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Read Jude 1:3-4, 20-25.

Repost from @GrantWarrington • Florida mayors fight property tax cuts, but budgets are exploding! Miami-Dade up 60%, Tampa up 96% despite minimal population growth. They're doubling spending, making Florida unaffordable.

I see a lot of people trashing Boomers and mocking Ray for complaining about property taxes, insisting those taxes are necessary to fund local services. But I'm ALREADY paying state and county income taxes. Why am I ALSO paying property taxes when much of that money goes toward funding many of the same local services? Here's my bigger issue: Why am I being taxed on the increased value of my home when I haven't actually made a dime from that increase? Some government assessor decides what they THINK my house is worth, and suddenly I owe more? Where exactly is that extra money supposed to come from? I haven't sold my house. I haven't realized a profit. Why not base property taxes on what I actually PAID for my home instead of some hypothetical market value? And I'm not even going to get into the fact that I pay out of pocket to homeschool my kids while still paying taxes to support a bad public school system we don't use. That's a discussion for another day. @RonDeSantis is right about property taxes. You shouldn't have to pay the government rent on a home you already own. Enough already.

“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?” Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century. politico.com/news/magazine/…

Pray with me October 19, 2026 Heavenly Father, With my whole heart, I praise You. Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes and incline my heart to Your testimonies. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Your truth is eternal, Your judgments are righteous, and Your faithfulness endures through every generation. Lord, I rejoice in Your promises more than in great riches. Your commandments are not burdens but blessings. Your precepts give wisdom, Your statutes bring understanding, and Your truth brings freedom. You are my portion, my refuge, and my strength. Whom have I in heaven but You, and what greater treasure could I desire than Your presence? Let my soul continually praise You, even when my circumstances tempt me to complain. When my heart grows weary, strengthen me according to Your Word. When my thoughts become troubled, establish me in Your peace. When the world grows dark, remind me that Your truth has never lost its light. Great peace belongs to those who love Your law. Let that peace govern my heart today. Open my eyes to behold wondrous things from Your Word. Give me a hunger for righteousness, a love for obedience, and a heart that delights in Your will. May my lips overflow with praise, my life testify to Your goodness, and my every step bring glory to Your name. You are good, and You do good. Your Word is forever settled in heaven. Let everything within me rise up and bless Your holy name! In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Scripture inspiration: Psalm 119:12, 14, 18, 57, 68, 89, 105, 114, 130, 165, 171-175.

Pray with me October 18, 2026 O Lord, my God, how great is Your name in all the earth! Before the mountains were formed, You were God. Before the seas found their boundaries, Your throne was established. Before my first breath, You knew my name, and before my feet found their way, Your mercy had already gone before me. Who is like You, O Lord? Who can measure Your wisdom or exhaust Your goodness? The heavens declare Your glory, the thunder announces Your power, and the morning light bears witness to Your faithfulness. Yet You, who command the stars, incline Your ear to the whisper of Your children. When my strength was gone, You sustained me. When my heart was troubled, You became my peace. When darkness surrounded me, Your Word was a lamp beneath my feet, and Your presence was the light that darkness could not overcome. I will praise You, not only for what Your hands have given, but for who You are. For You are holy when the world is corrupt. You are faithful when men are faithless. You are righteous when justice is forgotten, and You are merciful when sinners cry out for grace. Your goodness is not diminished by my suffering, nor is Your sovereignty shaken by the storms of this life. Though the earth trembles, You remain my refuge. Though kingdoms rise and fall, Your throne endures forever. Though my flesh grows weary, Your strength is made perfect in weakness. Let my mouth never grow silent with praise. Let my heart never become so familiar with Your blessings that I forget the One from whom they flow. I will bless You in the morning when hope is renewed. I will worship You in the evening when the burdens of the day are laid down. In the midnight hour, when answers are few and tears are many, I will still declare that You are good. For Your steadfast love is better than life, Your mercy is new every morning, and Your faithfulness reaches beyond the heavens. Let everything within me magnify the Lord! Let my victories bring You glory, my trials deepen my trust, my words proclaim Your truth, and my days bear witness to Your grace. And when my earthly song is finished, when my final breath has passed from these lips, let my praise continue in the presence of the One who redeemed my soul. For You alone are worthy. You were worthy yesterday. You are worthy today. You shall be worthy throughout all generations. Blessed be the name of the Lord, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen.
