The federal reserve has a history of making terrible decisions by reacting to lagging indicators 3-6-12 months after the fact. These ill-timed reactions result in 'political economic policies' that deny commonsense & repeatedly force the public to lose wealth to the elite.

Many don't remember the 2006 real estate crash when foreclosure rates skyrocketed, when wealth was erased from the middle-class whom had to write 'underwater checks' of $50k to sell their homes. Will the middle-class will once again see their wealth and savings sacrificed?

The #Recession is manifesting daily; the Mainstream Media & GOV use lagging indicators to delay the 'recession revelation' to the public. "They" are always 3-6 months behind "Now". This represents a failing process for setting policy and mitigating "obvious" issues.

In general we think the data will continue to deteriorate and the equity market will continue its decline for the remainder of the year (presuming no FED backstop or stimulus). We continue to like XLU, GLD, UUP, TLT at the lower bounds of our Risk Ranges.

#Stagflation? #Recession? #Correction? We tend to see all of the these becoming a very real concern as the FED continues to tighten into an economic slowdown; #HardLanding. Unfortunately the average American will begin to see and feel these things manifest in the near future.

#Stagflation is a situation in which the inflation rate is high, the economic growth rate slows, and unemployment remains steadily high. It presents a dilemma for economic policy, as actions intended to lower inflation exacerbate unemployment and set the stage for #Recession.

As we approach the end of the year, and as corporate EPS across the board continues to revise lower, we will likely still see unprofitable companies continue to nosedive (maybe to 0). The probability of #Recession continues to rise as Q4 approaches.

For those of you who think the inflation trade is still on (which we do not), these tickers are looking more attractive as they extend towards towards the bottom of their respective risk ranges: BNO, DBA, DBC, XLE. We tend to think inflation already peaked.

Looking to take profit on TLT, VGIT, IVOL, DIA, IWV, AAPL, AMZN, TSLA, ITA, HACK, XLY, XLV, XVI, XLK, as bear market pressures continue to persist, this is likely to result in a mean reversion for these tickers extending out near the extremes of their risk ranges.
