@barstoolsports Intentional big brain play by Steichen. Colts new Hou would sub Defense back on after the conversion and so just ran same special teams unit to line for a designed run to catch them with too many men on the field

@tylerjschoon That’s not even the worst take. Chris Broussard responds by saying he wouldn’t even offer the first, it should be JJ and a later pick lol

That’s not even what I said, I said Nix over Herbert is crazy. Herbert had a better rookie year, better career averages, is 2-0 against Nix in the pros and beat him in college. Herbert is bigger, stronger, faster. Anyone trying to compare stats for Herbert’s one year under Roman with the worst WR core in the league to Nix’s rookie season is incredibly short sighted. There isn’t a GM in the league that would take Nix over Herbert

@ChargerChatPod @StevenIHaglund Still losing home field advantage, would have preferred playing home game against KC at Sofi

@DrotalkSD I’m sure you will get all kinds of advice (fasting, low carb, Carnivore, HIIT, etc), but the best diet and exercise plan is the one you can stick to forever. Prioritize building healthy sustainable habits that you enjoy and you are far more likely to keep the weight off

@StevenIHaglund @BigEvilInc_ I think they are going to “Fehoko” him. Makes initial 53 then cut a few days later after teams have filled practice squads. They will go 2 qbs (finally) and 5 wr with Guyton on PUP to accommodate 7 IDL on initial 53

@tylerjschoon The reach way too early for a small school developmental player in the 3rd that could have been drafted 2 rounds later

@tylerjschoon Would rather just swap 21 and 54 (1160 points) for 29 and 40 (1140 points). There seems to be a drop off around mid 40s at TE, edge, and wr so swapping 1s and 2s let the chargers jump ahead of the mid second round run on those position groups

@danielrpopper The Drue extension topic has really divided the fanbase. When you report there was no extension offer, do you mean he never received an actual offer document or the team never discussed numbers at all?

@tylerjschoon Is this just semantics? They could have discussed what they were willing to offer but his agent stated it would not be accepted before FA so the Chargers didn’t bother to write the offer sheet and moved on

@tylerjschoon Did I miss where the chargers re-signed Callahan? Asante is your cb3 on the roster today. Callahan earned a payday, I doubt he takes a discount and the Chargers don’t have the cap space. Why trade ASJ when Callahan walking will likely bring a comp pick?

@StevenIHaglund Can you get around that by adding “assistant HC” to the role and claiming it’s not a lateral move? I think teams have been able to do that with positional coaches by adding “run game/pass game coordinator” to their titles

@LockedonLAC As a follow up, even just being active as the emergency swing tackle instead of Sarrell or Norton would be a relief

@LockedonLAC With the chargers activating the 21 day window for Slater to return, do you think Staley’s comments that he won’t play Saturday are just gamesmanship? Bosa played the week he was designated to return. Is there a non zero chance Slater plays?
