Yew Tree Tarn, Coniston. Amongst grand ancient yew trees, is the most easily accessed of the Lakeland Tarns as it sits beside the road from Coniston to Ambleside. There is a lovely little walk around the tarn which was formed when Yewdale Beck was damned in the 1930's.
Slaters Bridge, Little Langdale Historically Little Langdale was at the intersection of packhorse routes and this packhorse bridge dates back to the 17th Century and would have e been a critical crossing point! The bridge linked all four points of the Cumbrian compass.

Awesome morning walk to Hodge Close Quarry and Cathedral Cave this morning. All I could think about was that somewhere around here Lanty Slee could have hidden his long lost treasure. Easily, in my opinion, the best low level and easily accessible family walk in the Lake District
Millstones at Stanage These huge stone ‘wheels’ are so synonymous with the Peak District that ornamental versions grace every sign on key routes into the National Park, and the millstone features as the logo for the peak district national park They're on average 2.2tonnes!

"The Great Ridge" and Mam Tor📍Peak District Few are aware of a bronze age hill fort which is over 4000 years old and sits at the summit of Mam Tor. You can still see the earth mound and ditch running around the summit which served as the defence for the hill fort #hillwalking
Fresh and crisp on Stanage Edge Lots of people enjoying their own adventures and we had a great time with the dogs 🐕 For a place so close to the city and with such high footfall from visitors, it feels remote and wild. #peakdistrict #outdoors
Great scrambling on Elbow Ridge. Located just out of Castleton it has an exposed first section which has a very alpine feel to it. Worth avoiding during rain or afterwards as the limestone becomes slippy. #peakdistrict #scrambling #hillwalking #hiking
