From standing up for farmers to championing addictions & mental health across NS, @JohnLohrMLA is a fighter. I know his road ahead won’t be easy, but I am proud to have him on our team, and to call him a friend. We are all behind you in this battle John! saltwire.com/atlantic-canad…
@DanRTSN Great job last night doing play by play
I assume we take that for granted that it tastes good
Homemade pizza night. Even made the crust. It might not be pretty, but it tastes good. 🍕
@tylercameron The Leafs probably could have used you
Westville is a wonderful place to live, raise a family and I hope during my time in elected office I have in some small way improved the lives of our Citizens. Grateful and sincerely, Roger MacKay
Last and most importantly, I would like to thank my family. Your love, support and encouragement over the years has aloud me serve my Hometown. I am looking forward to spending more time with Jessie as we transition into a new chapter in our lives.
It has been a privilege to serve as the Mayor of Westville for the past 11 years, and Town Councillor for 14 years before that. After 25 years of elected office, today I am announcing my retirement as Mayor of Westville and elected politics.
It's my oldest son Brandon's birthday today! I might not get to see him enough while he's out west working, but Jessie and I are beyond proud of the man he has become. Happy Birthday Brandon! Here is a little flash back from 2007.
On Wednesday, I attended the Concert in the Acadia Park in Westville hosted by the Westville Social Committee. These free concerts are held every Wednesday night for the month of August starting at 7:00PM.
I really appreciated the invite from @LarryHarrisonPC to walk in Halifax County Exhibition Parade in Middle Musquodoboit. Larry is a great MLA for the beautiful Musquodoboit Valley. Also great to bump into local Councillor @SteveStreatch & my friend @stewiacke_Pam during the Ex
It was great to catch up with Ken Streatch in Middle Musquodoboit. Ken was named the 2019 Fair Person of the Year for the Halifax County Exhibition. A worthy honour for a great guy. Ken is a farmer, volunteer & MLA from 1978-1993. I appreciate Ken’s support in my campaign for MP!

For the last four years, Justin Trudeau has failed to help you and your family, and has made life more expensive. That’s not right. Last week I traveled to Cape Breton to let you know that as Prime Minister I will create the opportunities you need to get ahead, not just get by.
Bonne Fête Nationale des Acadiens! Happy National Acadian day!
Looking forward to attending tomorrow!
Since 1884, the Halifax County Exhibition will be held Aug 14-17 in Middle Musquodoboit, with parade starting at 1pm tomorrow. Family fun & excitement; all are welcome!
I enjoyed chatting with @CPC_HQ leader @AndrewScheer last week in Cape Breton. Canadians cannot afford another four years of Justin Trudeau's out of control spending. We will work hard to help give you the opportunities to get ahead, not just get by. #CDNPoli
