I read it again. Nothing changed. The vote is not about healthcare, it's about funding and opening the government. Thirteen times, all the Democrats, except 2, have voted against the “Continuing Resolution”, which keeps the government closed. Whereas almost all the Republicans, except 1 or 2, have voted for the “Continuing Resolution” which will open the government. I think if only 5 more Democrat Senators vote yes, that will be a 60% majority in the Senate and the government will be funded and reopen!
I am not certain I understand your post. This is not about getting 60 votes in the Senate to take illegal aliens off Medicaid. It is about getting 60 votes, in the Senate, to pass the "Continuing Resolution" and open the government! The Democrats have decided to hold the entire government hostage (closed) until they get what they want (free healthcare for illegal aliens that will cost taxpayers about 200 billion) added to the “Continuing Resolution”. Therefore, the government is closed until a few more Democrats decide to join the Republicans and open the government (by passing the "Continuing Resolution" which will provide the finances) without adding other conditions.
