@RyanLoseke @cameron_korth Good point on light wts going in but yearlings lighter too. Ch/s spread has been way behind in move up this year as middle meats have struggled. Fed str/hfr actually higher then yr ago recently so maybe some of it. Hopefully that changes. If not, we truly did hit a wall w/demand.
We got the first Friday beef close above the weekly average in almost 2 months. That is a good sign. Let’s hope for a solid week next week.

@agronomistryan1 It is interesting to me that all the ag interests who talk nonstop about reducing taxes turned around and doubled a tax rate per bushel for corn producers. The lack of discussion about the increase was even more disappointing. It doesn’t build trust among producers.
