@DonaldJTrumpJr I live in Southern California, and the fires have been devastating. I believe that the federal government should not provide financial assistance to California without the appointment of federal oversight to ensure that all federal funds are used to rebuild the areas affected. Otherwise, funds will be misused and misallocated. In addition, California must, prior to receiving federal funds, formally agree to conduct forest management and proper water allocation.

As a 32-year veteran law enforcement officer and former Marine, I can tell you that Andy Stumpf has no idea what he is talking about. Based on the information available, the shooting was NOT justified. Ashli’s actions did NOT justify the use of deadly force. My condolences to Ashli Babbitt’s family. Stumpf has never been a law enforcement officer and does not know or understand law enforcement use of force policies, training, and procedures regarding the use of deadly force.
