The German graphic designer Hans Schleger (Zéró) was born #OTD in 1898. Schleger designed posters, press adverts and bus stop posters for Shell. This press ad from 1934, was created to celebrate the results of the '1,000 Miles Race' held annually in Italy.

Today is Edward McKnight Kauffer's birthday! Born in 1890, the American graphic designer was one of Shell's most prolific artists. His works span many different styles, with hints to futurism, cubism, as well as impressionism. 'Stonehenge' and 'Summer Shell', 1931 🎨

It's #InternationalMountainDay - enjoy 'Loch and Mountain' by Keith Shackleton, for Shell's 1983 calendar 🗻 Stunned by the view, the artist recalls "It was swept by curtains of sleet, sudden bright clearances followed by snow flurries that hid all and left a mantle of white."
