But secularism should protect freedom of belief, not become another form of religious coercion. A girl wearing a hijab is not evidence of Iranian influence. Who said anything about Western civilization? We were discussing Azerbaijan, a country with a 96% Muslim population. Are you suggesting Western values should dictate how Muslims live even outside the West? And what exactly makes Islam incompatible with Western civilization?
