@RoadPolicing @PoliceStafford Ignore all the ignorant tykes comments. Keep up your good work, I did it for 30 years, with none of the tech and kit you have. Still the best job, the majority of people understand what you face.

@fascinatorfun @implausibleblog Thank you for pointing this out. It annoys me as a recipient of the original state pension and no hope of getting anywhere near the figure always quoted

@HarrietSergeant @firstfinequine @gracebrod1e What intrigued me was the apparent absence, or non-reporting, of errors in the opposite direction, putting thousands of £ surplus into play rather than shortfall 🤔

@LancsRoadPolice Don't want a Police State, 1984 etc, but clearly there is no mechanism for spot checks on those failing test and then not returning to the process. Assume also no insurance for same time, as ins co asks for my license

@WiltsSpecOps @dog_gem @AmesburyCPT We'll said, if the necessary action had not been taken, we could have been reading about dead members of public and/or police officers.

BREAKING: Insult is added to all of his legal injuries as Donald Trump’s cherished Turnberry golf resort in Scotland is rejected for the Open Championship. He previously claimed that “everybody” wants to see it played there. Shortly after his Jan. 6th coup attempt, he was informed that he likely would never be allowed to land the Open for one of his courses — a brutal blow to the golf-obsessed egomaniac. A source has revealed that the golf governing body has not changed their mind on the issue “We have no plans to stage any of our championships there in the foreseeable future and will not return until we are convinced that the focus will be on the championship, the players and the course itself,” they said. Another source revealed that the only way the Open will ever be hosted at the Turnberry is if Trump sells it. As petty as this might seem to normal people, it’s exactly the kind of thing that drives Trump crazy. Retweet if you think that every golf organization should refuse to work with Trump!

Sunak’s Government wants to force people to work against their will & see them sacked if they don’t. It’s unthinkable, unworkable, almost certainly illegal & we must stand TOGETHER to resist it Sign the @eiecampaign right to strike petition here👇 wesayenough.co.uk/petition/

I make no apology for my rage. This vile Victorian piece of crap Government has just declared war on working people. When workers democratically vote to strike the Government wants to force them to work against their will & have them sacked if they don’t. WE MUST FIGHT IT

This is going to be one hell of a week for postal workers. Facing an out of control CEO and threats to their job, terms and conditions. They take strike action on Thursday and Friday. Are you with management or your postie? Pick a side. RT if you back postal workers.

@Cardiffguy2022 @ducatiepie @MerPolTraffic In the 30s, my Dad was clocked at 40 on his bike in Wapping, the constables couldn't catch him. Being well known, he ended up before the "beak" for "Riding furiously" and fined £1.
