@JudiG @CllrSimonHogg Pity you didn't withdraw this terrible application. You could have saved us all a huge amount of time and effort, and have removed the anxiety and anger among the local community. @LeonieC

@howiesonthecase @TootingCommon @howiesonthecase Can you direct message us what you know about this association.

Why has @TootingCommon blocked us? The Friends of Tooting Common don't want us to see what they are saying.

@clare_f These are the 7 reasons why you correctly said permission should not be given for enclosure and commercialisation of part of Tooting Bec Common. You now have the power to stop it. @CllrSimonHogg @JudiG @LeonieC @TootingCommMAC #stopthesteal

@CllrSimonHogg @JudiG A common, especially #Tooting Bec Common Triangle Field, is absolutely NOT the right place for commercial, enclosed, floodlit football. Will the new LABOUR admin please scrap this dreadful scheme @LeonieC @clare_f @balhamnewsie @heartstreatham #stopthesteal

Rather less Instagramable, but @SaveOurTriangle's campaign to prevent a pay-to-play astroturf pitch being built on Tooting Common deals with the same basic issues about public space and who gives permission for it to be partitioned.

@JoRigby_Balham If #Labour take over #Wandsworth in this week's elections will you scrap the hugely unpopular and damaging plan to privatise and enclose a special part of #Tooting Bec Common? @LeonieC @MarshadeCordova #savethetriangle

@LynseyHedges @danielrhamilton @AzharforBalham Do you support the #Wandsworth proposal to enclose and privatise a special part of #Tooting Bec Common or if elected in #Balham will you reverse this damaging plan introduced by the Conservative administration? @RaviGovindia1

@TMytton_ @ToktasNabi_Eng Do you support the #Wandsworth proposal to enclose and privatise a special part of #Tooting Bec Common or if elected in #SouthBalham on Thursday will you reverse this damaging plan introduced by the Conservative administration? @RaviGovindia1

@AysheaBuksh Where the Balham boxing club is and the place @wandbc want to develop for commercial sports facilities is a common, it's not a "park" as you described it on @BBCLondonNews. Will you do a report on huge opposition to plans to take over this public place? #TootingBec

@susiejgray09 @TootingCommon @opentooting @susiejgray09 Can't see what you're replying to because an account (possibly @TootingCommon ?) has blocked us - but you have hit the nail on the head

Big miscalculation by @wandbc ? There's such opposition to its plan for a commercial operator to fence off part of #Tooting Bec Common and charge for its use that the Sec of State has ordered a public inquiry. This is common land, it must remain public & accessible #stopthesteal

@wandbc "failing residents" over plans to commercialise and enclose part of #Tooting Bec Common - via @SthLondonPress londonnewsonline.co.uk/wandsworth-cou…

@AlistairMcInto7 @TootingCommon @wandbc You're obviously completely deluded and ignorant about the law. And if that is what you think of our common it's not worth engaging with you. #savetootingtriangle #saveourcommon

Friends of Tooting Common @TootingCommon members opposed to @wandbc enclosure and privatisation at the Triangle Field outnumber those in favour 17 to 3, with the rest don't knows - but the leadership are sitting on the fence, telling a government inspector members are undecided
