If his footwork/mechanics looked improved in the preseason, I wouldn’t have much of an issue with it. Continue working with him on it and keep the new habits. But they didn’t look improved at ALL in the preseason imo. Going to be a messy year for him. Still a huge fan though

Even though he’ll be fun to watch ofc, I think I disagree with the Colts deciding to start Anthony Richardson Week 1. He needs major, MAJOR fixes with his footwork and throwing mechanics. Throwing him out there W1 is going to make his bad habits much harder to break.

I mean to be fair, Taylor was also lining up off the line of scrimmage for like half the game.

reminder that Jawaan Taylor (and Lane Johnson later this week) are not false starting. they've perfected moving as **soon** as the snap comes off the center's hand. it looks like a false start because the rest of the league's reaction time is worse

If there has ever been a Dam Campbell player it is Jack Campbell

Jack Campbell was my No. 23 overall player. Never in a million years expected him to go at 18 or to Detroit. Very out-of-character pick from Brad Holmes.

Marvin Harrison Jr is WR1 next year and probably top 3 overall. Egbuka is WR2 and top 10 overall.

Ian Cummings @IC_Draft

It's clear that the same recruiting preferences that led Ohio State to Jaxon Smith-Njigba also led them to Emeka Egbuka. 6'1", 205. Can press into stems and use spatial manipulation, and has incredibly smooth change-of-direction. But I think he's more explosive than JSN:

Taking Haener in R2 would be the funniest thing ever

Chris Fallica @chrisfallica

Isn’t Houston better off taking a non QB at 2 and 12 and then taking Haener or Hooker at the top of round 2? Why take a project QB at 2 which has what, about a 20-25% chance of actually panning out? Take two guys you can plug in the lineup as starters and take the QB later.
