I just rewatched the first two ‘Star Trek’ films directed by J.J. Abrams, and they’re absolute masterclasses. I remembered they were really good, but not that good. Now I can’t wait to rewatch the one by Justin Lin. 🖖

A few years ago, I watched ‘The Vast of Night’, Andrew Patterson’s very first film, and I’ve never forgotten it! This indie movie cost just $700,000. It’s crazy what he pulled off with so little! And the music is stunning. If you have Amazon Prime, go watch it. It’s a sci-fi gem!

I’m watching Star Trek: TOS, and at one point, I had a strange thought: the episode I just watched was first aired in 1966. Almost everyone who participated in that episode has been gone for a long time, and here I am discovering it for the first time as we approach 2025. Weird!

I’m happy for Soto and he’s right to take what he can get. That said, I wish he had signed somewhere other than the Mets. I’d have preferred him to choose a team for the love of the game rather than the one offering the most $$$. Either way, he would’ve been a multi-millionaire.

I was planning to buy Twisters on Blu-Ray, but I just found out it’s already on @StreamOnMax. Now I’m unsure whether to be grateful for saving money or disappointed not owning a physical copy. I wish physical releases had an exclusive window before streaming.

I just watched ‘I’ll Follow You Down’ (2013) with @HaleyJoelOsment on Prime. It’s a movie about time travel and its unstable variations. I found it brilliantly written, and I highly recommend it. A real gem.👍

I’ve started playing the remake of ‘Mafia.’ I had never played it before, not even the original, and I’m blown away. I can already tell this game is going to consume all my free time, and it’ll probably be the first one I finish on my new gaming PC.

I'm using a smartphone with a built-in physical keyboard, and it's awesome. It reminds me of the comfort of a BlackBerry phone. I would love to have a Key3 one day or a @Unihertz Titan Slim 2 with lots of improvements.
