What does this mean? Why are you asking if someone has a disorder of sexual development (a biological condition) in the "gender" section of your application form? You can't "identify" as "intersex". Also why is it relevant to the job if someone has a DSD? @AmeyLtd
This looks, to me, like a case of @stonewalluk law being pushed into HR systems via EDI teams. Preferred pronouns were also added to the HR system very recently. 5/6
Given that this attribute is sent to @HMRCgovuk, this appears to contradict the HMRC Gender Recognition policy, which states that a gender change is triggered by the Gender Recognition Act, rather than 'compromised' HR systems. gov.uk/tell-hmrc-chan… 4/6
What's odd is that the diversity & inclusion team's Self ID guidance instructs staff to change the gender marker in accordance with their gender identity. Not once do they mention the need for a GRC, but they, like HR, recognise that it's used by @HMRCgovuk. 3/6
The HR system has no sex attribute, only a "gender" attribute, which contains options M or F. When I asked why they're storing gender and not sex, I was assured by HR that it's actually sex, and is stored for @HMRCgovuk purposes. 2/6

UEA Sportspark has ignored user complaints about men in the female changing rooms at Sportspark for a year. It will come as no surprise that UEA does not collect data by sex but by "gender options", failing its public sector equality duty and other Equality Act obligations.
