@altantutar To be fair, strong investments matters more to a bank, than its software. Tech-centered banks aren't a new concept, and there are a couple in SF. Yet the old banks are still around and the biggest.

@AbdouBenbada @oofdere @jarredsumner Typescript has no runtime behavior, is an explicit language specification. Here, the type annotation (i.e. Typescript) given to JSON.parse, affects runtime behavior, so it no longer conforms to Typescript language specifications.

@Apauwels25 @fitcapgirldad @mischa_steiner That's because it is. The point was to remind people to train harder, and most people don't come close to training hard enough. It's just that.. it's only inspirational when a real human pays the cost to do it. You can make AI do anything.. and it's not very inspirational.

@OasisDrake @kamikazecash Strictly speaking, choosing red is "if everyone just"... and also "if 95% just", "if 90% just", and "if 85% just". Blue is strictly only "if everyone just". 80+% might certainly be too high, but the progressive ease of reducing "if x% just" is also real.

@JasonRute @ereliuer_eteer But you can simultaneously hold that the coin might not be fair, and therefore the distribution is not uniform; *and* that if the coin is indeed fair, and the distribution is uniform, then it is true that the sequence is as likely as any other sequence.

@JasonRute @ereliuer_eteer I understand that what you are trying to say, is that, because Bayes leads you to believe that the coin isn't fair, then this belief further leads you to believe that for some fixed length, all possible sequences do not form a uniform distribution of probability.

@DeanTTraining Said person who is concerned with building muscle, have a low appetite, and actually drinks several gallons of this per week. It works. But after awhile, the brain becomes so used to the flavor that it actually just taste like water. An unexpected downside to consider, maybe.

@TheRohanVarma Can we get a task/todo list that are Dots is currently working through? Possibly with status like "working", "queued", "ended", etc. Just looking at the animation on Dots, doesn't really tell me what is still on its plate.
