I write code. I have kids. I test the code. The kids test me. My thoughts are our own, depending on active personality. benjbauer.com Seattle Area, Washington Joined October 2008

We’re all so emotionally damaged from this last year and a half that Steve from Blue’s Clues was like “I have to address the nation”

@peacocktv your episode list of Battlestar Galactica is ALL sorts of messed up. Got excited for a re-watch, clicked on S1 E1, and was started halfway through the series.

Finish one, start another. Slow down. Take your time. You can't rush this.

Also, yes, that is the Hudson Hornet and, yes, I did choose the model because of the movie Cars, and yes I did contemplate painting eyes on the windshield like Doc Hudson.

My ADHD thrives on urgency and panic, often times created myself through procrastination. One skill that takes a lot of energy for me is "taking my time". I've picked up model building to help me with that because you cannot rush these. I'm not perfect, but I'm getting better.

I hate when you wake up too early where you didn't get enough sleep, but too late to justify falling back asleep. Looks like another hard core coffee day.

OK, I think I've worked through the stages. Grew a little, made myself a little stronger, came out better. That's really the point of life, isn't it? Always be a better version of you than you were yesterday.

@bradygaster You are not alone. It is tough as hell and I'm running out of times that I can say "there is an end in sight... it's almost over" when my son cries in my arms about how he misses being in school and being with his friends. It's ok to hurt and be frustrated. You are not alone.

I've never officially taken a full "day of learning" and done so. Tomorrow, I dedicate myself to learn something new and share it with others.

Did you know today’s date is both a palindrome and an ambigram? This means you can read the date from left to right, from right to left and also upside down! 🤯

Imposture syndrome is easily amplified through abusive work relationships. Watch out for those who rely on you as an expert but treat you with contempt.
