Last night I went to blow out a candle on our kitchen table, and instead of blowing it out, I found myself starting to say, "Alexa, turn off the--." New Low.

do not underestimate the ability for a 4 year old to be told something once and repeat is 4 times a day for the rest of their life.

soup. you're describing soup.

It’s weird there aren’t more savory drinks. Take broth for instance. There are so many broths I would absolutely drink straight out of a mug. So how come there’s no Starbucks for broths? Am I just weird?

I remember when every other doctor's or dentist's office had a massive fish tank. Beautiful diverse fish and tastefully decorated. Now you never see them. What happened?

Confession: I thought there was some kind of technical definition of a "weed" like I thought you could show it to a plant expert and ask "is this a flower or a weed?" and they could tell you. But no, weed is just a slur for any plant you don't personally want around

everyone keeps posting memes about "recession indicators" like it's some phenomenon and it's like idk, there is an actual economic term for recession indicators and it's called a rise in "inferior goods".
