Very much enjoyed Godzilla Minus One. In a nutshell, the Hollywood movies are about Godzilla with a few human characters thrown in. This is very much a movie about people which just happens to have Godzilla in it. It's brilliant. #GodzillaMinusOne

my sister rang me to congratulate me on 47 days sober. she said i am really confident when speaking about addiction and she thinks i would inspire lots of people by getting into that field. she also said "i feel like i have got my sister back" and that meant so much to me 🥺🖤
had a wobble. had a cry.. didn't have a drink. thank you for all the messages & support. it got incredibly close. i was sat there and my heart hurt SO bad. the choice of doing it or not. the fact my addiction is so powerful i can't even have one or i spiral out of control. ouch.
crying my eyes out in a pub on a friday afternoon like a pathetic idiot. if i cave in and get this drink then that is it. everything i've worked for for 46 days is all fucked. but i honestly don't know what else to do right now. i just don't know.
had my triage and assessment with the local drug and alcohol service. it was extremely thorough and quite difficult at times. but they will be prescribing me with "acamprosate" to reduce cravings. this looks promising.
"don't share so much of your life if you don't like being laughed at." 100 people can be nasty about me sharing the HELL that is struggling with alcohol addiction. 1 person bravely thanking me and confiding in me makes it all worth it. we should not be silenced. #recoveryposse
i want a drink. so i am distracting myself and organising the new book case. it is looking very... me. everything on it is mine. i really have moved into my boyfriend's house and taken over. big time.
what do pricks who take the piss out of people mentally struggling actually get out of it? i got laughed at, told to get a grip and told nothing is wrong with me when i shared a vulnerable moment last night when i was struggling with my addiction. it must be so easy for them.
my boyfriend got my gaming PC working! it is all ready to be properly set up. so we have a PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, gaming PC, 3DS, mega drive, a wii.. christ knows what else. i am going to be so focused during continued sobriety. that is so important for me. escapism.

I AM 40 DAYS SOBER. FORTY DAYS. how is this happening?! this is the hardest thing i've ever done, but so worth it. my skin, my body, my cirrhosis and my mind thank me for this. my support network and you beautiful souls on here are always cheering me on. aaah. #recoveryposse
i'd never fully accept praise in regards to sobriety last year when i was ill. i was only sober BECAUSE i was dying, that was it. now i accept it, because i WANT to be sober and i DESERVE it. i moved 100 miles away to do this. not a drop of it touched. 40 days. almost 6 weeks.
hoping i get the phone call in a few hours to say i got the job i interviewed for the other day. i have absolutely zero faith in myself but good god i want it. routine, money, something to do. it would fit in with sobriety so well to keep me focused.
i'm trying to be a bit insightful and educational(?) on how awful alcoholism and addiction really is - this is why i post so much about it. it also keeps me in check and sober. but i'm also hoping an upcoming video of the other side of things is good, too.. yeah? worth it?
had a drink dream that rattled me. i woke up on my parents sofa with everyone just standing around me and asking me if i remembered what i did last night, and i didn't even know how i got there in the first place. so much shouting at me. laughing. nope. 34 days clean, fucker.
alright. enough moping. since my 360 is working i can play through some of the GoW games again. this will hopefully shut me up and stop me mentally ripping myself apart and craving a drink. let's goooo.

woah. milestone reached. i was full of self doubt a few hours ago & now this appears. i cannot believe it. some days are seriously challenging. the liver cirrhosis pain can be unreal. but i'm doing good. my support network is amazing. things are fixing. i got this. #recoveryposse
if i was a week sober & left by myself today i'd have found a way to get alcohol, hide it & worry about the consequences later. addict kel is a nasty, vicious, manipulative liar. it's 29 days sober & i've felt fine. i'll always be an addict, but hopefully now always in recovery.
