Been quiet for a month. Running perps on Hyperliquid is a different vibe and the Solana trenches kept pulling my attention. Finally went in to see what the fuss was about - studied the launches, the runners, the PvP. Turns out there's more to memecoins than people give them credit for. Cooking on something. More soon.

@Cointelegraph If CLARITY dies, some people will call that bearish for on-chain derivatives. I’m not so sure. For platforms already doing billions in commodity volume outside the traditional perimeter, ambiguity may be the feature.
@WatcherGuru Indian tankers already through. Turkish ships cleared. The $100 oil thesis needed total closure. It's getting a controlled reopening instead.
Iran reopening Hormuz to non-US, non-Israeli ships changes the path here. The market priced a much tighter disruption. Partial reopening takes a lot of that premium out.
$11B in tokenized treasuries, up 27% this year. Money isn't leaving crypto. It's hiding in yield while waiting for the storm to pass. The fear index says 30. The capital flows say something more specific.

SEC and CFTC just signed an MOU to coordinate on crypto. Most people are reading this as bullish clarity. I'm more interested in what it means for on-chain derivatives. If regulators start drawing clear lines around what counts as a commodity perp, every platform running unregistered oil and equity contracts is suddenly in the crosshairs. Clarity cuts both ways
@KobeissiLetter Interesting that CME’s concern is government intervention in its market, not the $1B+ in oil perps already trading on-chain every day without it. Regulation isn’t the real threat here. Irrelevance is.

Added silver. First long on the book. Oil has a ceiling now. Silver doesn't.
CPI landed fine, oil backed off, crypto held in. Still not convinced this is real strength. Feels more like a market that hasn’t fully flushed yet.

@smartestmoney @HyperliquidX @koolkrypto223 Fair point on holder count. I don't think crowding is about wallet count as much as how consensus the trade has become, especially once leverage builds around it. That kind of crowding is what I care about.
