I just had a very disturbing conversation with a young man in the sauna at my local gym. After exchanging some basic pleasantries, the conversation quickly moved to his family roots in Qatar. He told me about his father being mistreated there, despite "building much of the country's infrastructure." Without prompting, he made several remarks regarding the state of the Middle East, and before I knew it, we were talking about Israel. He explained to me that global terrorism, and especially terrorism in Israel, was natural. "It's because people are trying to break out of prisons," he said. "Gaza is a concentration camp." While I repeatedly disagreed with him in a polite and measured tone, he grew more and more excited. "The only sovereign nation in the Middle East is Iran!" he told me. "How's that working out for them?" I asked. He also explained to me that "Israel has killed more children than any other country." I asked him about the horrific deaths of children in other wars, to which he had no answer. I asked him about Hamas using the people of Gaza as human shields. He refuted that, as well, suggesting that Hamas wouldn't harm children. He then went on to explain that eventually, the Jews will be outnumbered — and that in time — Israel will be overrun and undone. He seemed exhilarated by the thought of it. "It's getting too hot in here," he said — before abruptly leaving. I just stood there stunned. By all accounts, a normal, probably well-educated young man in Canada, defending terrorism, celebrating the strength of the Iranian regime, and openly predicting Israel's destruction. As I got changed and headed home, I couldn't stop thinking about our talk. There was no green bandana or inverted red triangle — but it was clear how he felt about the situation. How he viewed the world. There are thousands and thousands of young people like this here in Canada, and throughout the West — and in time — we're going to pay a civilizational cost for not addressing this problem when we had the chance.

It was truly awful to see that not a single bishop turned up for the remembrance of Ann Widdecombe in the House of Lords. A woman of deep, unwavering Roman Catholic faith, Ann centred her entire life and political career on her Christian beliefs, from her principled stands on life issues to her tireless advocacy for persecuted Christians. Her devotion to both Church and country was total and courageous. Even if they disagreed with some of her views, the least the Lords Spiritual could have done was show basic respect for her lifelong dedication. Instead, their absence speaks volumes: too lost in woke values, lacking the courage to honour a woman of real conviction. A sad reflection on where parts of the establishment Church have drifted. Rest in peace, Ann, you were a true servant of faith and principle. 🙏

I’m in agreement From Fox News. I wonder how loud it’ll get if Trump could pull this off. It will be interesting. President Trump is asking everyone to share this, in three days, most people in the United States will have seen the message. This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party. The TRUMP Rules: 1. Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And no more perks go with them. 2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise at the ok same rate as the COLA for monthly Social Security recipients minus 1% if having a budget balance deficit. 5. Congress loses their current care system and participates in the same health care system (Medicare) as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!). 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege, NOT a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. Term limits of 2 terms and treat them like a regular citizen!

We pay over $10 in tolls to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, supposedly to cover its construction costs. But the bridge was paid off in 1971!! California politicians are GOUGING us. I’ll abolish tolls on bridges we've already paid for and fund maintenance through the state budget.
