UPDATE: Non-Sanctioned Participation Policy on HOLD for 2024 Season! Following a meeting with OLA Zone Directors, the OLA Board of Directors has accepted a proposal to fully delay the enactment of the non-sanctioned participation policy for the 2024 season.

Talking with families and studying the roster of a @TeamOntarioLax team and a @OntarioLacrosse Championship team … all Team O players ..23… would be suspended for the year under the “policy”. The Ontario minor box team would have over 80% of that roster suspended as well. 🤷🏾♂️

@ExEBGuy Well that’s a valid question isn’t it … you can miss for AAA hockey or all star badminton but if you miss for club lax you get the death penalty

Typical, making it so confusing for the players/parents that it is impossible to know what is or isn't "allowed" under OLA membership.
