My hype for this is unreal. May the grace of the Erdtree cure me of my affliction (COVID)

Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together. An upcoming expansion for #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development. We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between.

@jamestanton I think it's pi/2 - 1 with lines at x=-1/√2, y=1/√2. If we put lines at y=a and x=b (a,b >= 0) you can show that the green area is pi/2 +2*a*b and the white is pi/2 - 2*a*b and then minimise with the additional constraint that a^2 + b^2 <= 1 (i.e lines cross within the circle)

@GeoFreC @mathisstillfun And then I think if my equations are right I can do this to get the answer but it's gonna be messy. I think either I'm wrong or there's a cleaner way to do this

@Math26039335 you can use the intersecting chord theorem twice to get x = 5 😃

I was a bit surprised that you can post a Pringle through a letterbox- because twisting straight lines trace out the hyperbolic paraboloid Pringle shape
