Little Wake's in English only for now, on purpose: Crossband, the tool that keeps the words in other languages, won't let a language into a build till a translator's checked every line of it, and only a translator, by name, can mark a line done #gamedev #indiedev

Fixed a sneaky one in Little Wake's netcode: after a stall and a few lost packets, the server could acknowledge a player's button press and then never actually use it, so it just vanished. Now it holds on to what it's got until things are flowing again #gamedev #indiedev

Little Wake's weather comes and goes in spells, so there's mist first thing, rain on the pier that nobody packs up for, and now and then a proper storm round the lighthouse, then it clears for the evening and the lamps come on #cozygames

@WeVennStudios They do! The pool is set once the cast begins so if the season changes during a cast it’ll be the previous season, but otherwise nice and fresh fish!

It takes Little Wake under a day to get through a whole year, so fish off the pier for long enough and you'll see the trees go orange and the snow come down on the roofs while you're still waiting on something better than an old boot #cozygames #indiegame

There are 56 things to catch in Little Wake and the journal keeps track of every one, from mackerel off the pier to the odd old boot, and filling its pages gets you titles and new things to wear, which is my excuse for still being out with a rod at midnight #cozygames
