“Many believe that sari-clad women can’t run, I wanted to prove them wrong!” Love this story 😍 Madhusmita Jena, a teacher from Manchester, ran the city’s marathon in this beautiful sari, in 4h 50. I find it hard enough to walk in a sari, let alone run 26 miles! Amazing 💪🏾

I am appalled to hear that the Rwanda scheme has been ruled lawful. The plan to deport refugees to a country they have never known remains profoundly immoral. History remembers those who stand up for humanity. That will include those who resist this heinous act of cruelty.

Best thing about being stuck in Australia an extra week with covid is that I've so far had 3 baths, that's 3 more than I've had in the last 3 years and I couldn't be happier about it 🛀🏻

Really interesting read. As someone who loves chocolate, I know I need to charge to way I view it, "instead of viewing it as a cheap, plentiful commodity, think of it more as a good coffee or wine, something that's worth paying a bit extra for".🍫 ideas.ted.com/the-steep-pric…
