No one who follows the data surprised that CBO projects much higher deficits than Trump budget. And, CBO's forecast is a best case--no recession, no more tax cuts, no global instability demanding major US involvement.,

Former "swamp" denizens mis-used funds, decorated offices outrageously, gave staff friends large salaries, abused taxpayer monies. It's good to see that the swamp still exists under those who once wanted to "drain the swamp." The alligators are new; still the swamp.

Paul Ryan's 2016 economic plan held great promise. It failed when Trump elected. Ryan goes out with very few of his "compassionate conservative" goals achieved. Now the party resorts to chaotic trumpism, one tweet at a time. Ryan decision great loss to party and nation.

CBO deficit projections for FY19-22 almost certainly too low. CBO constrained to using current law, which presumes sequester caps resume in FY20. Very unlikely that will occur. Thus we remain virtually certain that $1 trillion deficits will begin earlier than CBO projects.

Kudlow rejection of use of reconciliation as legislative vehicle ironic: it was used when we invented its present form to pass Reagan budget in six months in 1981..and subsequent tax cuts. Without reconciliation, no serious further tax changes. Larry know this.
