really impressed with the speed and efficiency of doing my new ID card and passport renewal at @HomeAffairsSA inside @StandardBankZA Canal Walk. was in and out in just 15 minutes! now just need to expand this service to more bank branches.

online grocery delivery apps should have an option to flag an item as critical. if that isn't in stock, just cancel the order - the other items were there just to make up the numbers.

Anyone successfully registered with "eHome Affairs" - ehome.dha.gov.za recently? seems the email server has been down for weeks, so cannot complete registration or do anything else. no response from contact centre email support. @Leon_Schreib

Finally cast my vote at 9:50pm, with a queue still waiting when I left. At least the rain held off, and the atmosphere was good. Next time round though UberEats needs get on top of this and do election queue deliveries.

complete madness: if you want to update your @Game_Stores email address you have to submit a POPIA request with ID verification, affidavit & signed form to Massmart's Information Officer. Game's IT system must be running on an Excel sheet in someone's closest. crazy.

crazy that SA banks are still getting away with charging R50 for "immediate" payments. alternatively, wait up to 3 working days. I know the answer is just move banks, but easier said than done.
