Great papers demonstrating importance of T cell P2X7R expression in immune response & tumor defense. nature.com/articles/s4146… jimmunol.org/content/early/… P2X7R+ T cells are depleted by NICD following ART1 induced MARylation, suggesting that ART1 may be a novel immune checkpoint.

Many tumors express ART1. In the manuscript, we show how 22C12 decreases tumor growth KP1 lung cancer models, but also in LLC lung and B16 melanoma models. 22C12 can be given either IT or systemically. Both routes lead to increased intratumoral P2X7R+ CD8 T cells.

Hope everyone can take a deep dive into supplementary data of our recent @ScienceTM paper. Nice data on development of therapeutic monoclonal antibody, 22C12, which we hope to further optimize for clinical development. 22C12 binds to ART1 expressing cells and inhibits MARylation.
